Wasn't it a Fed's stolen pistol (from his car) that was used to shoot the woman in SF as well?

Not really a long gun issue though.

I did and it still isn't a Long Gun issue. Posting it in the NFA forum is more appropriate as i highly doubt anyone in this sub-forum is going to be approached on the street to buy it.

Yea. There are some who think using an NFA as a defensive weapon is a problem because of the risk of theft, or problems in court. Don't leave an SBR in your truck because it is more likely or worse yet if it is stolen they say. Silencers are an issue too. Nonsense. Let me tell you from experience, LEOs loose control of their weapons far in excess of what is generally known. Responsible non-leo owners are probably the most responsible weapon owners on the planet.

I was so tempted to joke that my 10mm barrel search had reached a conclusion - till I reasoned that would be in poor taste due to the seriousness of the situation. Still...
I think that's funny.

I was going to make a joke about it ending up in the library of stolen guns the ATF Firearms Technology Branch uses.
