I have a Benelli M1 (HK marked of course) and have been looking to get a sling for it. After a search on the forum here, it seems like most agree that the G3 sling is the way to go. Looking at my shotgun, I see the point on the stock where the sling attaches to but I do NOT see a point on the front of the shotgun. Am I missing a part or does the sling wrap around the magazine tube? Any help would be appreciated.

My M1 came with a flat plate that fits between the front mag nut and the barrel ring, it's got a slot for a sling, and can be placed so the slot is to the left, the right, or the bottom.

Other than the fact that it's assocaited with HK, it is a metal stamping, and shouldn't be expensive.
