I'm at work and don't have access to a micrometer... so does anyone here know offhand what the precise bore diameter of the .40SW P2000 is?

I had this question posed to me while looking at some ammo online. I was told that the bullet in question has a diameter of 0.399" and that as a result it does not function properly in handguns with polygonal bore diameters of greater than 0.400" such as Glocks. The warning was given to me that if the HK bore diameter is similarly sized, I should skip using that ammo.

Thus, my question. :)

Thanks in advance.

It'll function, maybe. .399" is on the small side. You might not get the velocity or accuracy you normally see. 40 cal barrels will vary a little between .399-.400". Most people won't have measuring tools to measure to the ten-thousandths. 40 cal bullets should be .400 for jacketed and .401 for lead.
