Will this work for a 9mm USP compact? I hate how small the mag release is on the USP compared to a HK45 compact

Yes, the HK45C magazine release will work on a USP Compact. I've converted 3 of my USP Compacts, and it his a nice improvement.

They are not recommended to use with plastic mags.
