Thought I'd go ahead and ask before I go experimenting.

If I wanted to shoot heavy bullets, in the 175 to 180 grain range, out of my SR9: is it going to help functioning or accuracy to switch to, say a 40 degree locking piece?

Any and all feedback will be appreciated.

Probably not. Worse thing that will happen is the gun wont cycle--however, the recoil spring is strong enough that if the spent casing jams-up, the abrupt stop of the BCG could cause the rollers to create dimples in the rails just behind the trunion.
