I just preordered cod BO2. It came with a poster. In case no one has seen the trailer, it's based in the year 2025. Take a look at the pistol he's holding in the poster. Looks a lot like an HK 45 with some kind of rail adaptor. Here it is.

there will be NO licensed firearms of any kind in the game--its going to be a "future-based" storyline...personally I am going to pass it up; The allure of COD: Black Ops was the intertwined Historical references throughout the plot-just my $0.02
The first was fictional also. Hk21E/G11 oh and ACOGS in Vietnam.......Sure.
No licensed based guns? This thing will flop without licensed based guns. That's half the allure of COD games. Let's hope they change their minds.

Looking at IMFDB, it's either future guns that resemble things like the XM8 or some cameos from the same tired AR's and AK's. No licensed weapons, a horrible story line (I assume based on the others), and Treyarch at the helm...yet it will still make loads of cash. I hope the Medal of Honor sequel steals some of its thunder.
I thought the last Medal of Honor game was really good. I hope the next gets a better multiplayer.

The one good thing I can say about Black Ops was the Training mode option for folks that want the online play style without a ton of the BS.
I loved Black Ops and i'm glad Treyarch is back in the saddle. MW3 is horrible.

Training Grounds option is ridiculously fun...get three or four buddies together...try restricting load-outs to specific weapons sometime...believe me it adds another fun element
I really like MW3. A little disappointed in the MP5. Besides that I love it! My load out is the UMP and MP9.
I just hope they set it up for true servers with admins like counter strike. It eliminates all the issues with hackers that have plagued the entire series.
Personally burned out with MW series. Last one I bought was BOps but it just felt too acrcady for me. I am saving up for MOH in Oct. first one was amazing and if they would have spent a little more time on it it would have blown away anything else on the market. My brother in law is a MW freak and loves it. For what it is it is OK but it is just not my type of game.

Agreed...horrible
The new Medal of Honor is supposed to have tons of licensed gear/weapons in game. The MP7 was my go-to-gun in the last one. In the meantime I'm thoroughly enjoying Sniper Elite V2 with the xray kill cam that it has. The MP40 is available as a backup weapon and, as usual, kicks some a$$.
It's a fnx-45.
There is no such thing as an FNX 45.
There is an FNP 45 Tactical in-game, but it isn't featured on the cover. That's a fictional gun called the B23R.
Wasn't it the FNX before it was the FNP? Shoulda been the HK45, I would just run around with that.

But they did put the MP5 in the game, single player only. Along with the XM8 and 416, which had a 16" barrel and was under the name M27. Which is odd. Also odd is that Section racks the charging handle twice and ejects a round, but still has thirty in the mag. Its strange and wrong.
I thought it was nothing special. It was over burdened with cinematics. I rented it for a weekend; i wouldn't buy it. it had MP5s, MP7s and made-up weapons based on the XM8 and what looks like an MG4.

The 416 with the 16" barrel that you mentioned as the M27 is in fact the military designator for the USMC issue 416, which we have purchased to augment the M249 SAW.

No, the FNP came first, then the FNX/FNS in 9 and 40 only.
If you want to play w/ a HK45, get MoH Warfighter. Story and multiplayer have a HK45CT.
Call of duty has always sucked when it comes to accurate depiction of weapons.
