I just purchased an H&K Complete Trigger Assembly SEF OD Green Grip Original Military Selector Switch Plastic Grip for $39.97 at CTD . it is brand new with a few handling dings ! It is a great deal ! I want to make it fit in my Century Arms CETME . Because my CETME is in the Century Arms shop for minor subjective repairs I cannot know if the G3 trigger assembly will fit but I guess the trigger pack will in my CETME housing. It did fit in an H&K trigger housing I purchased at Apex for under $10 for my C93 which will need slight moifications to fit the C93. If you are looking for a great buy on a complete H&K trigger Assembly follow the link I posted below the OD Green I purchased was $39.97 and the black pistol grip goes for $20 more. I'll just rotate my black pistol grip out .

Am I missing something here, or did the initial poster (box20022) ask about putting a full auto push pin trigger pack in a shelf equipped semi auto rifle? In which case the answer should be no, it does not fit as received?

However, I am guessing that I should be reading this as are the 223 and 308 trigger packs the same (answer yes except for hammer spring and ejector), as the poster is going to be making a semi auto pack out of the full auto pack, with what ever changes are required by the BATFE or the poster is a Manufacture and making a post sample machine gun (aka post sample trigger pack).

The auto pack won't fit anyway with the semi shelf, but someone should have pointed out that yes, the packs are interchangable with the 90 series HKs/clones (less ejector and hammer springs, AFTER the pack inside the grip is converted to SEMI, which is a whole other job entirely), and best left to someone who knows what they are doing.

As for the OP, for all things CETME, the best home on the web is militaryfirearm.com.

But yes, with work and conversion, the HK/G3 trigger assy and pack will work with the CETME. And the C93 with proper mods and .223 specifc parts.

And yes, CTD is a good source of grip/packs. I believe I even read that Joe buys, or used to buy, his navy packs there. I certainly have a few spares from CTD.

Yes that was long winded, sorry.

I guess I was not to clear What I am attempting is to place a SEF trigger housing on my Century Arms CETME and C93. I have seen videos of how you have to do little modifications to fit the trigger housing into the rifle. I have a Malaysian trigger housing which I purchased off of Apex for $7.00 and my semi auto trigger pack fits snuggly within it yet I have to modify the forward clip which seats into the reciever frame. The Navy trigger housing is sad and detracts from the C93. I will also try to use the SEF trigger housing on my CETME . The full auto trigger pack is brand new as is the SEF housing I purchased from CTD. Look at the price they want on this sight for just the trigger pack alone. I will most likely sell the full auto trigger pack. I was not attempting a full auto conversion .

Converting the FA packs to SA is relatively easy and straight forward. Once converted they are interchangeable into the various housings. The hidden expense in the conversion is the german parts you may want to replace with US made parts to stay in compliance with 922r depending on what you are replacing. I don't think anyone was insinuating that you were going to drop a FA pack into your rifle, just reminding you that you weren't quite there yet.

Sorry to bring back an old thread, but my question is not answered here.

Can you safely run a g3 trigger pack in a c93? I have a springfield trigger pack in my ptr91 but would like to run it in a c93. Will I be safe?

Also can it be done in a POF mp5? I can only shoot one gun at a time, and swapping triggers is a breeze. Just wondering what I can get away with running this trigger pack in.

Swap out the ejector levers and hammer spring when going to 9mm.

To me the confusion here is a "G3" pack. The G3 is full auto select fire battle rifle. An unaltered select fire trigger group will not go into a semi auto grip housing and go onto a semi auto roller locked firearm. If your actual question is "Can you safely run a PTR91 semi auto trigger pack in a C93 and a POF 9mm clone?", then you have received the answer. The ejector lever is different for a 7.62X51 roller locked firearm than a 5.56X45 roller locked firearm. Some have been able to put a trigger pack with a rifle hammer spring in a pistol caliber roller locked and got it to rum. HK uses a lighter hammer spring in pistol caliber roller locks. The trigger frame and most of the parts are the same in all roller locked HK clones. There is a different ejector lever for each caliber (7.62X51, 5.56X45, 9 mm, with .40 S&W and 10mm AUTO using the same ejector lever) and different hammer springs for rifle and pistol calibers. YMMV.
