I own a Choate folding stock for my MP5k clone. The stock will not unfold and lock straight by just pulling it backwards.
For the last bit I have to lift it up (same motion as to unlock it for folding). The stock is brand new and looks OK.
I once had a Choate folding stock for my Marlin 9 and I could just pull back straight and the stock locked fully open with just one motion.
Is this maybe a newer design that prevents accidential unlocking of the stock?
