Hello, today I came across this Hard Chromed H&K P7M8 - Arizona guns for sale: firearms, handguns, rifles - backpage.com. The chroming looks to be well done, but what do you guys think this does to the value? Thanks!

IMHO, If its not a factory finish, generally the value goes down, especially on a commercial market (non police surplus) gun.
As far as current market, gunbroker completed listings is probably your best indicator of that.

That's a nice M8 but quite overpriced at $2500 imo. Also, this is somewhat of a price check and will likely be moved to the premium section.
