Once I have cut down the assembly pin how are you guys keeping the cut pin affixed to the lower trigger assembly. Glue, or are you flairing out the assembly pins to keep them in place? Any one have any pics?

The ones that I have purchased are flared out not glued.
I just clipped and pined my lower it was my firt one that ever did and it came out pretty good. After i clipped the lower i had a pin and cut it down to size and then i just used J.B. weld the one that sets up in about 4 min. It seems to be holding pretty good so far.
Not sure about the metal lowers, but the plastic lowers sold by hkspecialist.net are done by Urbach - he uses CA glue (heavy duty superglue). I stood there and watched him make mine. JB weld would work well, you just have to be a little neater as it won't come off, and will show up more if you're sloppy.

If you mess it up with CA, you can use solvent debonder to remove it and start over.
