Comp-tac Holster Questions

Currently deciding on holster options for my new P2000. I want to get this pistol in my carry rotation so long wait times for manufacture is not an option. I use several of the Comp-tac Infidel and paddle holsters for other pistols with good comfort and no issues. But their hybrid holsters caught my eye. Looking at the MTAC and Gladiator. Never had these "spread wing" type of holsters but I hear so much good about them. Two things I have heard about the leather/kydex hybrids is the draw/reholster is not as smooth as the total kydex models and the hybrids result in excessive holster wear. Your input and experience on these holsters would be greatly appreciated. Bill

I love mine. I don't know that I'd say the wear is "excessive". I might say that it's uneven. The leather side gets more of an all over wear and the Kydex side wears on the high spots. Both are a result of how the material contacts the slide. That doesn't really other me because it's a carry piece so I've resolved myself to it being worn.
I have the Spartan and the Infidel. I vastly prefer the infidel to the Spartan. It feels thinner, and the lower body to holster contact is a lot less irritating. I like the infidel belt clip + CTac strut weight distribution quite a lot. It is also easier to slip the infidel on/off, something important to me.
I have multiple CTAC's and MTAC's for my HK's. They are my carry pieces. I don't really worry about wear. I think it adds character. I've carried my P2000sk in a CTAC for about 4 years now. Here's a pic if you want to judge how much wear it has gotten over 4 years.

I carried my 2000 in a CTAC and thought it was very comfortable but the MTAC is even better. Love the leather backing. As for holster wear the guns that don't have holster wear stay in the safe. I minimize wear by keeping the gun holstered when I get home every day and just remove the holster. The gun only comes out for cleaning or shooting.

What did you end up with? I had a Gladiator when I had a G30. Thinking of it again for the P30. Alsoany experience on Bladetechs hybrid holster that is like the Gladiator except it pulls double duty as an OWB and IWB?
