Weill I have tried and I give up. Over 400 rounds in the past two days and I can not get the hang of it. What parts are needed to convert a factory LEM gun to v1? I am just exploring the option. I am going to shoot it some more today and probably place another order with SGammo soon lol. I don't want to give up but It's a real struggle especially when I can shoot my other pistols well. Still shooting low no matter what hold I use with the cover sight picture.

Are you staging the trigger after the reset or let it go forward everytime?

There is a thread in the Reference Library section about converting LEM back to DA/SA. The parts won't be cheap but you can place a WTB ad in the Marketplace for these DA/SA parts.

Not really sure what the LEM has to do with shooting low. The reset and trigger pull are the same as single action on the DA/SA gun (the only difference being the first pull which is easier on LEM and only furthers the point). After you break the shot, you should only be releasing the trigger to reset, not all the way out. Even on the first shot, if you practice you will be able to stage the trigger on the LEM just like while in DA, but LEM requires 10% of the effort as you're not fighting the hammer spring.

The system is genius and quite underrated, IMO. I feel most that don't like it don't know how to use it (not a dig on OP). But, to each their own.

I am shooting slow and stopping at the reset not letting it all the way out. Now if I shoot with a sight picture like this

0
0 0 instead or 000 it is hitting dead on. I assume I was pull the pistol down when I fired. Is it possible the front or rear sight isn't correct? They are factory installed night sights.

I would say have someone else shoot the gun and confirm if it really shoots low. If shooting low is your main problem, you can always swap out the front sight. HKCS will sell you different height Meprolight front night sight if you give them a call (or just call them and discuss the issue with them).

I would do the above before purchasing the DA/SA parts to convert. It might just be the sights and not the way you shoot it.
