I plan on getting a 357 sig barrel for my USPC in 40s&w and was wondering if the point of impact is different between the two rounds. As of now the 40 barrel shoots point of aim and I really don't want to mess with the sights. So if there's a big difference I may hold off. Those with both barrels please chime in. Thanks.

About the same;

I own USPC's in both calibers. On the odd time that I carry the .40, I swap barrels and carry .357 SIG for self defense. Having said that, I haven't fired the .40 very much with the .357 barrel other than to make sure that it functioned correctly. It works perfectly but I didn't notice any difference in accuracy.

I have a P2000 357 Sig with a 40S&W barrel & they both seem to be dead on when shooting close up but that might change at long distance shots which I have not tried with the 40S&W yet. All I do know is that I am more accurate with the 357 sig than the 40S&W round for some reason.
