I have a brand new USP made in 2019 (date code BK). From my understanding, the match hammer was created to fit the new style sear catch. Since my USP is 2019, and already has the new style sear catch along with the new style hammer, would it be incorrect to assume that I could piece together my own match kit using these parts:

Match Hammer Spring For USP, USPC, HK45 (HKP-014100)
Match Trigger & Trigger Stop - USP (HKP-01971)
Enhanced Match Flat Sear Spring - Nickel Plated (HKP-01811)
Match Trigger Return Spring - HK Pistols (HKP-02666)

Or should I just wait until match trigger kits come back in stock?

You are incorrect to assume that the Match Hammer was created to fit the new style catch. It is available in both versions to work with both old and new Catch.

You will also need the actual Match Hammer and the Hex Key for the stop screw. The Match Hammer is actually OOS everywhere I look. You can buy the Match trigger and the stop screw separately.

And try the HKWebshop or HK Cust Svc first. You'll thank me later. Here's an example. See how much you would save?

I held the USP next to my 45CT and it's just a little bigger but for some reason, I like the grip of the USP more!

I haven't held a full size HK45 or a P30 yet.

The PD to the north of me issues the full size USPs in .45. I am so jealous right now, even though theirs are V7s. I changed a bunch of their guns to LEMs for the officers that bought the kits and I recall the TRS change gave me trouble. Once I got into the groove, it only took me about 10 minutes a gun, but it's been years so I had to relearn last night how to do it again.

Now I'm either hunting town a USP 45 Tactical or one of the new colored 45Ts.

i finally had a vendor email me that the match trigger kits were back in stock and they still had them when I got to the website. Every time before they were sold out by the time I saw the email. I guess I will soon be able to see how much difference it makes.

The match hammer is the main component to reduce the SA creep, the sear engagement notch is not as deep, and the angle is slightly different. I replicate this on my trigger work.
