Is it generally okay to dry fire a P2000SK? One class I took recommended lots of dry fire practice in front of a mirror, I wanted to verify this first.

The manual for a Sig I own states clearly that dry fire won't harm it, but I don't see any statement like that in the H&K manual.

thanks,
Bryan

Dry firing is perfectly fine with the P2K and with most modern firearms and shouldn't cause any damage. Although its always best to purchase a set of snap-caps just to play it safe.

Yes it is. As the other poster stated, a snap cap will help prevent wear.

Yup - also feel free to check the FAQ on P2000's listed in my sig.
