Every time I come back from the range there is a little less paint below my ejection port, I think one of those ejection port buffers may help to reduce the abrasion of my rifles paint job. Does anyone know where I can buy one?

Thanks for your help!

The port buffer will scratch the top and side of your receiver also. When I removed mine to refinish the rifle there was a small spot where it rubbed the top of the receiver under recoil.

+1 the port buffer will scratch up your gun underneath. (Don't take it off.) IIRC the port buffer was for guys that reload as it saves the brass.

Best place to find one is here at HkPro, or gunbroker. They can get pricey; somewhere between $125.00- $150.00.
