Once payment is remitted we will get you tracking within a day or 2 and get your mount out! They came out fantastic. The 7075 finished correctly across the whole shade. Sorry it was such a long time through the process but we are finally here to get these out. Thank you all for contributing to this project. This is the follow up thread to the feeler thread posted here approved by @omega21 :
At this time the materials and base orders have been placed and we are moving to shade production / waiting on delivery of the Eratac units. To recap, these will be a new & revised run of the Eratac shades done previously and in better 7075 aluminum. I am running this as an HK Pro pre order priced special. Once the pre order window ends (realistically 2 months or so) and we move into shade production and finishing, the cost will go up to $450 for the final retail units remaining purchased after the pre sale period. I already have dealer interest in obtaining multiples of these & they are limited.
Changes Made: After getting things aligned I have determined that these will ALL be Anodized RAL (135 units) and Black (65 units) ONLY. We are omitting the Cerakote offerings. Why? Because I now have a top of the line anodizer and we have a QC in place that will give me the best outcome for the finishes and stay true to the original G28 / G36 / MP7 units (See test anodizing on leftover 6061 samples below). Keep in mind that colors will vary and metallurgy differences will shift color saturation. BUT, if your heart is set on Cerakote, then that can be custom done but for $60 in additional costs. These will be all be in 7075 for T2 Aimpoints only and be in line with what collectors want. Anticipate a 5-6 month wait with updates as we go along. The longest part of this is the Eratac order. Could there be delays? Yes and we hope to keep that to a minimum. Delays do not equal refunds though so please be patient.
How the Pre Order Works: I need $100 down towards the unit and then balance upon ship ready. This can be paid via Cashapp, Paypal F&F or Zelle. I need your name, email and phone and will keep a list of whom get whats on this thread. Please post here what you are taking and EMAIL me at info@78machine.com to arrange payment and give me info (Please include your HK Pro user name for cross reference). I cannot keep track through the PMs here. It gets very messy in the PM overlap and things get mixed up. In 5-6 months those messages will be difficult to resolve. So post here and email only.
I'm really excited to get this done for the collectors, myself included, and will post updates as often as I have them to share.

Update: We have some working samples of the 7075 shades below, raw finished. Coming along nicely. Bases are still on order. Will update once they land stateside. Thanks all for your support and patience. Reminder that we WILL be increasing the price on the 15th to $450. So if you have not placed your order yet, I advise that you do so before the price increase on the remaining units. As stated I already have retail buyers lined up to take the remaining units at retail cost. So anticipate them being much more expensive in those stores. Thank you.
Update 2: At this time the price change has been applied. All orders going forward as of 4/16/25 will be at the $450 price point.
Update 3: The machining for the shades is completed. Pics below. Only hold up is the arrival of the Eratac bases for tapping, refinish, and assembly. The train rolls on.
Update 4: MOUNTS ARE IN FROM ERATAC!! So we are in the blasting, tapping, & anodizing phase. I don't want to give timelines yet in case there is a delay on something but we are approaching the ship date. Next update will to be announce shipping and get final payments. Thank you all for your patience and purchases. Looking forward to getting everyone the final product!
Update 5: Barring any headaches or shipping issues, we should be shipping these out by mid August. Some folks took long July vacations but everyone is back at it and the last bits are wrapping up.
