^^^ What orfeo said above. Here's a pic for reference (courtesy of Big Bore). I'd try to tap out the roll pin from inside of the slide, to prevent possible marring of the slide.

Thanks a bunch. I'm going to home depot to buy a set of brass punches for this.

I would get this set. They are roll-pin punches, not regular punches. They won't damage the roll pin's head. I got one set and am extremely happy with it.

Should I put some oil on the pin before tapping it back into place?

Yes, on the pin, but not extractor.
