Factory Cerakote 45/45C - is there a corrosion treatment under the coating?

Hoping someone has factual information on this, as it seems the product sheet from HK does not provide much clarity.

I have both, the green and the sand 45C's and love them. However, the finish on both slides is beginning to show holster wear, so out of curiosity and an abundance of caution, does anyone know whether the standard HK finish that resists rust is applied to the slide prior to Cerakote, or not?
