It's NOS and no longer in production.... the same C3 loaders made from DuPont Zytel. Works with stripper clips and the plunger loads 5 rounds with each plunge.

I have yet to forget my thumbs at home when I head to the range. Compared to the times I've forgotten a special loader, that says something,

It says your still young and strong enough to repeatedly shove pistol rounds into MP5 magazines. If your real lucky you will live long enough to be in need of such a loader.

Maglula is a nice loader... Fast load and unload. Some of the others mentioned seem nice as well. However; all my ammo is packed loose, so a design that requires they be in a nice row in a tray won't work for me.
Also, I can tell you that the Lula loader works well with every type of MP5 mag I have tried... HK, US made, POF, ATI, MKE (even the plastic ones from RTG). However; the "latest 4th generation KCI Korean mags" do not work well with the loader. The problem is the leading edge of the catch area is smoothed over and very shallow. After loading several rounds, the prawl on the loader becomes dislodged. I believe others have commented on runnability issues with the mags due to the same problem.

My children used to be my favorite mag loaders and my trigger finger sending rounds down range my favorite unloader. Sadly, my children are now both adult women with little interest in serf-like tasks for their father. So I use the factory original. I have 8 sets because I tend to misplace them (and later find them) at about the same rate as my reading glasses.

GREAT....I just purchased a Maglula! And I bought 3 new Korean mags. How do you tell the difference between a KCI and a POF mag? None of them have these markings and neither did the green box they came in.....
