Here are a few pics of the HK P30 including one stripped.
Sorry about the poor quality. I was not paying attention to the white levels.
Note the recoil spring is a flat spring as opposed to a round spring.

A few Q's?

Hello

I looked at one of these at Knob Creek, on friday, at Clyde Armory, did not feel bad, the de-cocking "button",was a bit concerning, and might take a bit of getting used to.

As I understand they take USP compact mags?, including hi-cap ones?

Then you can swap out the backstrap piece for different size hands?

I'd like to learn some more.

Thanks

Bob

I posted my comments on this gun on another thread here at:

I am not sure if the USP compact mags will fit, as I do not have a USPc.

The backstrap AND the sides can be changed out for different size hands. Believe it or not HK actually GIVES you the other 2 size backstraps and sidestraps. BUT you have to tap out a roll pin with a punch and hammer to change it.

The first time I handled a P2000 V3, the de-cocking button was hard to press.
I was pushing in and I should have been pushing (in and down). It was very easy after that!

Looks like a nice gun. I want one in .40 S&W and I want it now. It would also be nice if it was the P30L but they probably wont do that.

Those are good quality pics, thanks.

I'm more a fan of the traditional decocking lever- still getting used to the button on my P2000SK, but may wind up getting a P-30 eventually...

In the immortal words of my generation....SCHWWWWINGGGG! Nice Kenji, very nice. I'm asking a lot, but any chance you can take a pic of those new sights? I like to see how they look and how big they are. Thanks for the P30 porn! :D

Thanks for the pictures. That pretty much made up my mind for me. I'll pass on one. I still see it as simply a P200 in different clothes which..a USP in different clothes. Care little about the changeable grip panels.

Sweet looking pistol. I would really like to see one in person.
