After owning Glocks and Walthers for about 10 years, I finally purchased a P2000SK V2 LEM in 9mm flavor. I was undecided between it and a P30SK. After handling both of them at the local shop, I liked the way the P2K felt quite a bit more. Which night sights do you guys like to run on the P2Ks?

For the P2000sk I run Meps on both of mine. On others, I am transitioning to Heinie 8s.
Meps are strong, the brightest out there and the brand HK installs in the USA.
Congrats on your first of many HKs.

Some after market night sights require filing and hand fitting the base of the sight(s). Meprolights install w/o the need of that. Some after market night sights will not shoot POA to POI. Not the case with Meprolights. See where I'm going with this?

If you like the Kool-Aid of an HK P2000sk, wait until you try the cake...

Don't bother with the Trijicon HDs. They're like affixing razor blades to the slide. I can't believe how sharp these are. Not possible to carry without a full sweat shield holster.
Although I agree that they can scratch you up if they are close to you like IWB carry. I'm sure this was by design and the designers were figuring on being able to use them when you need to cock the gun one handed.
I use XS Big Dot sights on my P2Ksk.... Congrats 410guy!

Yeah I was wondering if anyone had those installed. I was actually thinking of the XS 24/7 standard dot sights. I have a PPS with the Big Dot front. I really like them, but I would prefer a smaller dot on the front sight. Got any pics of how flush they sit on the slide?

As a matter of fact I do! Here y'go.... oh, and XS does have the same configuration in a smaller front dot.... I like the BIG dots, but many like yourself prefer the smaller front dot.

Here are XS's Big Dot vs Standard Dot

Just shot a box of 50 fmj rounds out of it after work today. Soft shooter and very accurate. I just don't like 3-dot sights. Definitely going to put some XS sights on it eventually. The overall quality of this thing is incredible. Just need to get used to that LEM trigger.

Wait until you try the V1 LEM... I think you'll fall fully in love. No need to get used to the LEM V1, as it's so natural. The Light (V1) LEM is really what sold me, and most of the customers that come into our shop. If you do get a chance to try the light LEM, and HAVE to have it for your new gun, it's a 2 spring replacement conversion.... the TRS and the FBS. If it gets to that and you need some help getting through it, I'd be happy to help walk you through it.
Congrats again!

Any idea if there is a part number for those springs? The V2 is definitely smooth, but I guess it could be lighter? Also, I just ordered the XS 24/7 sights with the standard front dot. Hopefully I get them soon.

I'm pretty sure these are the correct ones for the P2Ksk... just double check when you order. You can get them from HK USA, or HKParts
TRS HKPP2032
FPBS HKFP101

Also, the biggest value added upgrade I did to my P2Ksk was to texturize the grip. I found shooting .357sig coupled with a hot sweaty day equated to a slippery grip... this was completely mitigated after I stippled the grip. I'm not suggesting anybody take a hot iron and start melting their grip, as if not done correctly you can ruin the frame.. but I have experience in doing this to customers guns (Glocks, M&Ps, HKs), so I'm confident on the process...
Here's mine.
