Hey Guys,
New here. Recently purchased a Ptr 91 KPF. Over all very happy with it. She shoots great. Only problem that I have been having is that I noticed after I shoot her the flash hider is loose to the point where it can be twisted off by hand. I have got it as tight as possible. Shoot it the same thing. Can you not use a crush washer or shims behind it. As I am planning on doing an sbr, I see this as a temporary issue until I get my paper work back. Any suggestions on a temporary fix

finger nail polish

brightest color you can find

make sure to use up a lot of the counter girl's time (they are usually pretty)

then at the end of the conversation make sure and tell her what it's for

Both these work well. Clean the flash hider and the threads with acetone until they are nice and clean to get a better bond. Also do not over torque the flash suppressor because you can damage the threads at the end of the barrel and this will affect the accuracy.

Rockset or locktite.
