Ran across a great deal today, picked up a basically brand new SP5K with case, mags, red dot, extra single point sling with QDC and an SB89 brace for a whopping $1600. (love people being short on money before the holidays).

Anyways, I've got an SBR mp5 and not sure I want to SBR the SP5K in case I decide to get rid of it. I would like to pick up a folding brace for it (if they exist) to see how it is before seriously considering the SBR and using a legit stock. Does anyone know if there are any of those blade style folding braces that will work on this? There's a bunch of types of AR's, but I can't seem to locate anything for the SP5K specifically.

Only if you let me throw in the new threaded/lugged mp5k barrel and new hand guard to allow a can to fit on. You pay for shipping though, $2.50 doesn't leave me enough wiggle room. Shipping/handling should be roughly $1200

It sure looks to me like the ATF would regard that "folding brace" as a stock and it would regard it then as a SBR.

Are you sure it wasn't the APC9 folding brace email? They usually make a facebook post about new releases and still no info on the MP5 folding brace. The wait continues!
