I have been quietly observing this great site for some time now, and am about to make the plunge to buy my first HK. I would really like to get a German made HK45. It's just my preference and not an indictment on quality. From what I've learned here I have been looking for a serial number beginning with 126 and not hku. I have found one with 126 but the frame says HKI Trussville AL. This confused me about it's origin. Can anyone help me with that? Sorry about the long post.

My HK 45 V1 comes Wednesday I can't wait ! First HK !

I get my new HK45 V1 Wednesday this will be my first pistol and my first HK. Any pointers or tips for taking care of or anything in general please share.
