It's not the gun it's him. Judging by his reload videos with his "friend" (not sure what gender we're looking at) shooting the MR223, they are VERY competition and speed driven. While yes their reloads are fast, some of the most basic fundamentals are lacking or absent.

so how big of a problem are those dents? is its possible to fix the problem (wrong headspace/wrong bolt timing/too much force) or i should just avoid buying any G3 or clone that has this marks?

i only have an USP right now but i'm thinking of buying something in .308 but the MR308 is to expensive for me so im thinking about the G3

As you should have read, it's a preventable issue. I love my HK legacy roller-locks, but they are expensive and require more end-user maintenance and vigilance to keep it running optimally.

I have the full size BDC/NV compatible AA Eotech on mine.. yeah it looks funky..works fine though. Planning on buying the mini if they will ever make it in AA battery type

For the OP, the PTR GI series would be a good and relatively inexpensive start at roller locks. What will eat you up $$ wise are good optics and ammo

Here's my favorite G3 gun porn. The music in the video posted by the OP made me think of this one. I don't understand Japanese, but the narrator is talking about a G3 so I guess I comprehend most of it. Besides he sounds so sincere.
