Saw a wood stock (G#/HK 91 type) on Numrich Gun parts for sale with no backplate, wondering if this would be compatible with a PTR 32 in 7.62 x 39 and its existing back plate, or if any sanding of the wood stock where it slides into the PTR 32 back plate would be necessary (If the wood insert were too wide or tall). Does it usually need some sanding to fit? Or should it fit easily?

Thanks,

Thanks all.
Well the stock came, didn't fit, too big around the top. Did some low speed dremeling a bit at a time. Maybe took 10 minutes. Followed up with a very small file to get into the corner.
Wood stock went on, maybe tighter than the original stock, which was only held on by the two screws inside the backplate.
Thought there would be another screw that went in from the butt end of the stock.
Don't know how flush the stock and backplate should go together, as there were gaps between the original stock and backplate.
Hope to shoot it later today, will try to get some pics up soon.
Thanks again.

there should be a M8 bolt that threads into the back of the buffer housing from the butt end of the stockto provide a 3rd attachment point
