Gentlemen -

How quickly can you disassemble and reassemble your G3/HK91 Bolt carrier group without using any tools or device for assistance? My father's record is 24 seconds. Can you beat it? [I cannot.] Post some proof!

Don't have a G3, but I do this sort of thing with my AK. It's not about testosterone, it is about knowing your platform inside and out, down to the springs.

And, for those interested, I can completely detail strip my AK receiver and reassemble in 4 minutes with no tools. That's a full disassembly. Trigger, hammer, springs, and bolt all removed and fully disassembled and built back up.

Seriously? I'm already going to get yelled at by someone for even taking the 18 seconds out of the my evening instead of working on builds, let alone post video proof of it ;)

Ok, here you go dude. Was actually 16 seconds, hehehehe.

A few of us older shooters running on damaged joint's have been known to use padded tools to help out, easier than stopping shooting all together or getting a new thumb joint.

Right? I had to go soak my hands in a warm bath of epsom salts after that.
