Converting my Tommy converted G36E to the K. Have a german K barrel. I see that the barrel is designed to work with a retaining spring on the muzzle device.
1st question: If I go with a muzzle device that has a retaining spring, is that secure enough to mount a suppressor on the muzzle device? And is that just a hand torque?
This option would be using the HK Rotex Flash Hider that has the retaining psring.
2nd question: If I go with a muzzle device that does not have a retaining spring is there enough of a shoulder to use shims to time it? And what torque?
This option would be using the Clawgear G36 SOF Muzzle Brake. Does not have retaining spring.
Both muzzle devices are designed to work with the B&T Rotex V/X
