There is no HK bipod for the G36K. It does not have the removable sling pin that holds the HK G36 bipod. The best option would be to use a harris bipod and either rail mount it or get a sling stud adapter to mount it.

The early "K"s had a handguard that will accept the bipod. I think I have one in my parts bin.

 

+1 to Javier, The old style "k" handguard will accept it.

 

As others have said, the early K handguards will accept the bipod with no issues. Here's a picture of my SL8-1 conversion as proof.

When collapsed, it fits flush against the handguard.

G36K Handguard

How do I know if my G36K handguard is the older style that can use the bipod? I am guessing that I need to compare it to the handguard on the SL8 to see if they both have the pin or the place to install the pin.

Does anyone have pics comparing the old to new style K handguards?

There are actually versions of both the G36K (4-vent hole) and the SL8 (6-vent hole) forearms that are capable of mounting the G36 bi-pod

 

MY bad on the K handguard. I have the newer version and was not thinking about the early style. sorry.

This is the newer style that does not accept the HK bipod. There is no front sling pin, it has the heat shield inside and the bottom is rounded.

This is the older style that will accept the HK bipod: There is a sling pin, and the bottom is flat and squared off.

 

Adam might got some instock give him a call and see if he have any.

 

Well, I looked at my forearm, and dangit it's the new style with no place to put the bipod. Does anyone here know where I can find one of the old style forearms? It looks like HKparts.net is out of them.

I found this K handguard from a local guy and traded until I got it. I'm pretty sure it's a rare piece, as I've never seen another one like it, but have no idea where it might be from. If anyone has any clue, I'd love to hear about it.

The rubberized checkering on the sides isn't too squishy, but it does give some really nice grip, and the three vent holes really sets it apart.

 

I know this post is a decade old, but it turned up in a search. While the G36 bipod can fit on the older style G36K handguard, I've yet to see any pics of it being able to be folded up with a forearm ON a G36K.

Asking because mine doesn't sit flush - the feet of the bipod don't fit in the recess for the bipod if the handguard is installed on the rifle.

Anyone have pics of a G36K with the bipod folded in?

 

The only issue is the stock cannot be locked into the folded position when the bipod is also folded.

 

Just running across this thread and am wondering if anyone else can chime in if the older K Handguard can accommodate a bipod and fold and deploy properly.

Of course, you will also need a bipod, a pin, and the retaining clip.

 

As you can see, the stock folds (this is a C stock BTW) but it doesn't lock into the receiver because of the bipod.
