I was curious about all GGI's services and lead time and it seems this is not the time to send a pistol in for trigger work. I read on their website it's now taking around 12 weeks for routine and competition work. That's a long time.

If they say it's 12 weeks, I'm willing to bet it's 12 weeks.

The wait time is 12 weeks because they've got a lot of customers in line, in front of you. That 12 week time doesn't mean it takes 12 weeks to perform the trigger work. That sounds about right. They're the most prestigious shop for SIG's and HK's in the nation, and well respected for many other projects/pistols...not to mention being a very well run business, as well. Buy once, cry once. More people are getting that message.....

Sent my c40 off late feb got it back last week; quoted time originally was about 4 weeks so 12 is probably right for new jobs. I was watching lead times last year and if similar i dont think they will speed up till Q4.

All that said: 1000% worth it. They will definitely get more business from me this year 12 week lead or not.
