I'm beginning to desire a H&K SP5. I have traditionally been late to every fashion change in our world. By the time I start to like a certain look the party has been over for awhile. Maybe I'll catch the bus on time this go round. The SP5 looks like a piece of art work. I've only been seriously looking at it for three or four days now and my fondness has been growing each day. That usually spells GET ONE, GET ONE NOW. At this stage of my life, it's sell one, get one. The one complaint I hear is the rail. Is the complaint one of form or function? Does the picatinny rail come with it or not? Yes I can find these answers myself but the post is twofold. One is to get a more experienced HK'ers to add to the post, and the second is to continue to build interest for myself and others. "She beckons..."

Leperchuan0311, thanks. Sell one buy one. Going to let go of a couple of guns to fund this, and stock up on mags and ammo. Having a hard time letting go of my guns. It's not entirely the money, however money is important. At my age (64) I don't think it is wise to leave too many guns for my wife to sell. Not that I plan on dying anytime soon but... One rifle, one revolver, two pistols and a shotgun ought to be enough. Well add another rifle, a bolt action. I'm on the move to get the HK SP5, it'll happen soon, will post pics within two weeks.

You can never have ENOUGH HK's. I have bought 5 so far this month. lol

It is quite an addiction. I am trying to avoid the SP5K right now. If I see one, I know I will take it home. Trying to get some rifles scoped at this time, including a NIB HK 940. No good having an awesome rifle in the safe and not shooting it!!

Normally set about ~$1K limit on handguns.
But these new SP5K weapons are something extra special.
Just had to have one.
Now that I've ran 1000+ rounds through it?
Couldn't be any happier with my purchase :biggrin:
