Hey ya'll, stopping by the boards to say that after renting pistols at the range for a few months I finally bit the bullet and picked up a USP .45 Tactical. Really enjoyed shooting this pistol for a long time, and it's one that I've always wanted. Bought it used got a good price on it and took it out to the range.

Put 300+ rounds down the barrel on the first day at the range with it. I love it and I'm looking forward to more range days with it. No problems whatsoever as I expected. Simply a dream to shoot.

Thanks for the compliments everyone. The gun was in great condition, but I put a good cleaning on it after getting it home from the range. I have a nice lightbox for taking photos - but I guess I did a nice job cleaning it too. Bought a basic Hoppes 9 cleaning kit and a bristle brush to clean the bore. Pretty sure I did it right, ha. Going back to the range today, I'll toss a post up in the range talk section with how that goes!

I feel sorry for the fanatic who didn't buy an HK, he would have an eternal fall with any other purchase.
