I just received the new production A3 F style stock today from HK Specialist and I have to say it is a really solid unit. Finish is great and it has amazingly tight lock up. It also came with a wide forearm that was quite nice as well. I tried running a push pin through the stock before putting it on and was glad I did this before I put it on the gun. The first time needed a rubber mallet going in and then to remove it. After a few times running it through the end cap holes, the fit was much better.

I'm new to the A3 stock setup and I am installing it on a CA 94. The end cap that goes over the back of the receiver is a very tight fit. It took some work and patience to shimmy the end cap over the receiver. Unfortunately, it looks like the end cap isn't going forward enough to line up with the receiver push pin holes. They are just shy enough so it almost looks like it lines up, but no dice... cant get a push pin through.

I tried installing the unit without the trigger housing and the same thing happened. I'm hoping to get a fit because I actually really like the stock. I was just wondering if anyone had suggestions or tips for getting this sucker on or if anyone else is running into the same problem.

Unfortunately the CA94 is the only 9mm HK clone I have and I don't have access to another HK. As much as I like the handgaurd, I just found out that is a complete no go.... push pin hole is way off. I'll have to decide to risk modding the stock or see if HK Specialist will do a return on both pieces.

Look inside the stock... all the way to the end. Look for a braze or weld blob blocking the stock from going all the way down. I ran into a similar problem with a Vector endcap for a V-51P. Dr Dremel to the rescue with his faithful sidekick Carbide Bit boy.
