I'm retired law enforcement officer from here in So Florida. Some years ago I had a chance to do some shooting with one of our departments SWAT MP5's. Needles to say it was great fun. Several years have passed and although unable to to get a full auto gun I have settled for a semi auto copy. It's still great fun.

Welcome aboard. Yes there is nothing like rocking and rolling ….once you’ve fired full auto or a belt fed weapon FA nothing really compares. Thank you for your LE service. I am a military man myself but I have many good friends who are/were Leo’s and I’ve trained many Leo’s it is truly a thankless profession and grossly underpaid , especially in these modern times.

That is for sure. I have had HK rifles and handguns for years and I learn something every week on this forum especially from a lot of the younger guys who are not afraid to tear into these weapons to modify or upgrade them to fit their own likes and needs. Always enjoyable.
looking through the forum I see there is somewhat of a controversy regarding the MP clones. I just bought and am waiting for delivery of one of the new Zenith ZF-5's. I recently got a chance to handle one, I was impressed and since Zenith gives LE discount (15%) I decided to go for it. Also I have to admit that I would rather spend a little more and buy American Made! Seems like a good topic to discuss...
