I am trying to get a g36 handguard with the factory bipod and want it to match so any help you guys could give me about this process would be great! and certainly thanks in advance

Just get a few bottles of black Rit fabric dye. Follow the directions and soak it for a while. The black will soak in and not come off at all. The stock comes out a little off black. You just need a pan big enough to soak the parts. You can do one side and then the other if the whole part doesn't fit. If not as black as you like keep going, it's just about fool proof.
