Just get a few bottles of black Rit fabric dye. Follow the directions and soak it for a while. The black will soak in and not come off at all. The stock comes out a little off black. You just need a pan big enough to soak the parts. You can do one side and then the other if the whole part doesn't fit. If not as black as you like keep going, it's just about fool proof.
