I have always been a 1911 guy but recently purchased a USP 45 Expert. There are some minor differences to get used to, but I really like this gun. Unfortunately, the grip just doesn't fit my hand as well as I would like. Has anyone performed a grip reduction or recontoured the grip frame on their USP? It appears there isn't a lot of material to remove but probably a small amount in the right places would be a big help. I'm thinking a little off the corners of the front strap would be helpful. A flat mainspring housing would be awesome, but obviously not possible. It would be awesome to get this gun to fit a little more comfortably in my hand, even if it didn't feel just like the 1911. Any suggestions?
Thanks.
