Jeff, I asked in the 53GRS thread, I have 2 questions that I think a lot here would like to know....
1) Is that the lowest profile rail you can get on top of that thing? How well does it co witness on the 53?
2) How can we get one? Build cost? Can you build these as pistols for us? :> If so, what all would we need for the 53? A 33 kit, a Barrel.. who makes decent 93 receivers these days?

Best to call him. 1. NO, cowitnessing with the factory sights would be a function of the optic chosen, perhaps better to eliminate factory sights, exp. 51 & sd, and mate flip ups with aimpoint on the rail. 2. Call his number is all over the posts. Appologies if I have interjected unwantedly.

The Grs 51 has a lower rail ..
if you want one built sir just give a call.. can be built as a pistol no problem

I'm glad to see someone doing this mod. I talked to Matt a year ago about having one made. His prices were really reasonable, but I never got back to it.
With the top rail and factory HK sights, will it co-witness with something like a T1 micro optic?

Wil not w/ the reflex, but it is high, will report on the tube in the ACOG shortly, screws in the ARMS were too long, the 51 has no sights I will need to investigate tactical sight + flip up pairings, any info would be apreciated, I love the reflex no batteries, bolt on, rugged, seems completely adequate for the 51, as a stand alone 0-300 sight, I think 52kGRS no irons is in my future.... or G3kGRS ...the addiction runs deep

Wow, those are cool looking
The 416 sights Blackwing suggested cowitness perfectly with my trijicon reflex 2, i have never posted a pic, the refelx sight is at least 12 years old and abused but still strong, the iron sights seem unessary even detracting, but the use is deep seated, maybe a V machined into the picitinney rail would suffice for back up. I want one of the new rmr's has anyone used one?
