Does anyone know if these are quality built guns & do they accept regular HK parts like trigger packs , stocks & possibly a registered sear?????????????
They are top quality, same company that manufactures the Walther P-22 & the Sig Mosquito. Internals are different will not take your trigger packs. A-3 stocks will be available.

It's a nice design. Walther P22 and Sig Mosquito are both nice 22cal fun guns. Maybe they'll make a MP5K pistol version for the GSG-5.

You know I'm still curious as how ATF approved this. This is a rifle, has detachable high capacity magazine, and pistol grip. If this would make it in, why not the G36 semiauto rifle or UMP semiauto carbine without the thumbhole stock? HK could make the G36/UMP stock as nonfolding if that's necessary to get the imports permit. I did not think ATF cared whether it fired 22LR or .223Remington.

Amchar Distributing is the sole distributor of the gun and they told me they are "in bed" with the company. I would suspect the final Assembly was done here in the states. No official word just speculation on my part.

Domestic assembly would qualify this as non-import, so that's the most likely explaination to this, similar to how Sig 556 get to the US market.

Are we going to be able to use this as a sear host from the factory, or will it require mods? I'm stoked!
God Bless,
