As far as I know there isn't any public outdoor ranges in Asheville . They have a OK indoor range off of Sweeten Creek Rd. called On Target for pistol calibers only. The Forest Service has an open range pretty close to where I live (Canton, NC) that is really nice. You would never be able to find it unless you lived here or went with someone who knows. Shoot me an email if you want to meet up with me and we'll go burn some powder together. I am exactly 26 miles west of Asheville so it's not a long drive.
