I had planned on buying my first HK this weekend at the Fort Worth gun show but, seems not many dealers carry HKs or just don't bring them to shows. There was only one dealer that had several HKs out on his table but not the one I was looking for (USP40 tactical). Is it like this at other shows? Every table seems to be covered with Glocks.

The ones I go to in Iowa NEVER have a good selection of HK. The last big one I went to, there was a single USP .45 and two HK MP5 .22lr models. I see tons of Glocks and Rugers as well. I think the mentality around the shows I go to is that Glock is king and I am not sure why.

Yeah the one dealer that had a selection of HKs had HK45, P30, Mark 23, USPc of each caliber and USPf of each caliber but none of the tactical versions. The dealers will carry all sorts of lesser quality guns. I'm going to wait till the next gun show at the end of the month and if I can't find my tactical I'm just going to have to go online to order one.

Sounds like you know what you want. Have you tried CDNN? They list them at $1025 - not sure if they are actually in stock though.
