I have a strange question hopefully someone could help with.I recently acquired a p9 pistol that has a production date of 1972. The gun falls in the middle of the serial range of the original p9 single action guns but,the gun is double action. Also the safety functions as a disconnect not a firing pin block which i understand is indicative of the single action guns.Could this gun be a experimental gun or maybe a later retrofit the numbers on the barrel frame and slide all match.any help would be appreciated . thanks
