ok, quick and dirty, my previous HCP was RXing a series of medications for me over the last 10-11 years, end result according to my new HCP is that the meds combo created an even worse problem for me...
it has made it impossible for me to shoot or operate my new USPC 45 SS, and my P2KSK 4O SW DA/SA ...
i just don't have the strength to rack the slide or endure the recoil of the USPC even with softball (750fps x 230hb)...
it beat the hell out of my hands the first time i took it out...
the Dr. is wracking his brain trying to think of something he can do to counteract the years of misRX'd meds...
doesn't look good...
as it is now, i might as well sell my USPC 45 and the P2KSK as i cannot operate or shoot them properly ...
having no idea what the used gun market is like now i figured to come over here and get a ballpark figure for the pistols...
the USPC has about 150 rnds factory HB thru it and 3 extra nib mags...
the P2KSK is nib, unfired, with 3 extra nib flat floor plate mags...
what should i ask for these realistically?
i live in kalistan,does that affect the prices ?...
paid full retail for the pistols nib, as we have only one dealer locally that can actually get anything and you pay top dollar (and more sometimes...)

the problem is i don't even have the finger strength to rack the slide on the 45, it is now beyond a major effort to do so...
yet, i can operate the P2K 40SW LEM just fine , wth?
i was completely flabbergasted at how fast things had gone south...
it seems that according to the original records i really didn't have a genuine problem, the bloodsuckers just wanted the insurance money from repeat visits, constant blood and other tests...
every 2-3-4 weeks visits add up and EVERY RX CHANGE netted them $139.00 from the state just for writing the RX...
it seems that a diet/exercise program would have worked better than any of the meds, but there's no money in that...
these were the same people whose dental clinic wanted to remove a good tooth to make extracting a 'bad' tooth easier...( which is why i left and went to the new clinic)
anyway, i'm screwed and now have only one pistol i can use, its a shame H&K doesn't make DA revolvers i'd be on one like a (insert appropriate comparison here)...
there are NO quality revolvers available out here...
so, i guess i'll sell the other H&K's and hope something wanders thru my dealers place that i can use...
i have a couple of ruger single six commemoratives, but... 22 magnum is marginal for the crackheads and freaks we have out here...
i even thought of ordering that funky 'slide pull ring' that someones making but , meeeeeehhhhhhh...

If you are looking for a decent pistol that can be operated with weak hands and wrists, have a look at a Walther PK380. Not as much punch as what you would like, probably, but a lot more than a 22 magnum and the slide on it is lighter than my kid's Nerf gun. My wife is arthritic and very weak handed but has no trouble racking, clearing, or loading this pistol. The safety is a little odd but otherwise it is a pretty good little pistol.

the CCCP does not list the pk380 as being approved for ownership...

Beretta makes one that is a top break design. I don't remember which model it is right now but it doesn't require much strength. Cougar.....maybe?

they made a 380 with a tip up barrel, but if it doesn't work you're screwed completely, it has no extractor...
same for their tip up 22 autos...

It's the Tomcat you're thinking of but OP says the problem he's having is racking the slide. Then again, I can't imagine a Tomcat's slide being all that tough to rack.

the problem with Beretta's is getting one of them to work reliably for any length of time, the last reliable Beretta i had was a 1934, wish i still had it...

dropped the USPC 45 and the P2KSK at my dealers, he will dispose of them for me or ship them if i find an OOS buyer...
pulled out all my azooms and tried racking and failure drills with the P2K LEM 40, no real problems encountered, weird, somehow it still works for me...
i think the lem offers way less resistance than the other systems?
unsure?
soooo... i can still use the P2K acceptably...
problem partly solved, will see Dr on the 27th and hopefully find some way to stop deterioration of strength/function...
so very tired, talked to another victim of the 'Frankensteinian' medical system out here, she is going on 3 years with no relief from her affliction, the Drs get rich, she gets nothing...
thanks for all those who have responded, but $500.00+ for a 32acp, and $900.00+ for a 380 seems kind of pointless right now (all the state commissars want their "fees" and "taxes"...)
did you know they charge a fee now for the tags they require on each gun before the dealer can put it on the shelf?
are there any 'free' states left?...

If hand strength is an issue, try a longer barreled auto in 9mm. Also, if you want to stay with HK, look at a DA/SA variant which would allow you to thumb cock the hammer before you rack the slide. This keeps you from dealing with the resistance of the hammer spring. A 9mm 1911 would also work well for you I suspect.

i have decided to stay with my LEM 40 P2K, the hammer pre-load reduces the drag enough that i don't have a real problem with it...

i have the 2 revolvers and if my dealer finds an old j or k frame S&W i'll take that as well...

for some reason the P2K just fits and works for me...
