Anyone here frequent the Facebook group "Heckler & Koch = Damn Fine German Weapons" ? I know I've seen one or 2 familiar names posting or commenting on there before.

I tried to browse it earlier, and at first it appeared that the group was down. Now it's looking like I've been booted or blocked from the group. And I haven't the slightest idea as to what would have lead to that.

Long shot, but I'm hoping one of their admins frequents HKPro and sees this. The only thing I've ever done there was compliment on someone's post, or post a pic of my own. Maybe pointed someone towards a reference topic here if they were looking for information. I was harmless, I swear it. Hoping it was a mistake.

Mods, sorry if this isn't that appropriate place to post this. Feel free to move or delete.

never heard of that particular Facebook group. but I refuse to Facebook, so that is not a big surprise. You'll likely not find many Facebook fans on here, generally the mention of Facebook or other social media sparks a pretty heated conversation.....

however, what little I do know of Facebook, I've heard Facebook frowns on firearms based posts and the likes?

Facebook is not all that gun friendly. Those of you posting gun stuff will find that out when someone wanders onto your page, complains about your content and you find your account deleted.

They regularly delete the FB accounts of gun businesses and then when the owner complains the page comes back up about a week later. With a "so sorry" or sometimes no explanation at all and meanwhile the business has lost a week's worth of revenue.

I was on one group about firearms, I posted a indirect for sale for another, and the wannabe facebook cops tried to attack me, turns out these were real cops thinking they caught another "BAD" guy..........way overboard and stupid, firearms sales are prohibited on FB......and I personally would never do anything illegal nor do I know anyone that would.........sometimes some ignorant folks camp out there.

It's a privately run invite only page. The person who runs it does so in his down times. It sometimes takes him days or weeks to have a post approved. The owner does Nuke posts if he deems them to be inappropriate, political in content or straight up not pertinent to HK. He looks over each post personally before allowing it to be posted.

I don't think Facebook is anti-gun necessarily (HK and other manufacturers wouldn't have pages if so), but they will blindly take action on just about ANY complaint, and there are a LOT of special snowflakes populating it.
The owner of Facebook and thus his company are indeed anti-gun and have no problem messing with people/small businesses who don't have the monetary means to fight back when screwed with. I'm quite sure that no matter how many snowflakes complain about HK (or other major manufacturers) page they won't see it go down like a small business does for theirs under the same content complaint.

+1 on this. Most firearms related groups went to "closed" groups and changed their names and descriptions to escape the Facebook police in 2016 after Zuckerberg declared war on them. In true hypocritical fashion they still allow PAYING advertisers to push their wares on FB (Holsters, gunbelts, etc..) but deactivated many 2A discussion groups. You have to love the hypocrisy of banning 2A discussion groups while allowing ISIS recruiting pages.
