Hello all, hoping somebody has some experience here and can help. I have quite a few HKs but am mostly unfamiliar with the G36/SL8 profile; recently picked up an SL8 and wanted to do the "PSG-8" set-up.

Things went well swapping in the TB grip/stock set-up and installing the pic low rail. Bought the following rail replacement after an email with HKParts confirmed it was an inch shorter than the stock carry handle (the stock carry handle rail is brutal with scopes, even with my low-profile LaRue mount):

What to do with this thing? No matter what I do with it, it's not even remotely compatible with the SL8.

I'm guessing I'm out of $150 at this point, but was hoping somebody here might have some insights.

HKParts cuatomer service clearly not having any idea what they are selling people. Considering how rare the G36 Carry Handle/Optic combos are these days, this thing is practically useless for anybody. Oh well.

Why in the world would HKParts market this towards SL8, another odd point lol

I bid on one on GB but it wound up going for a crazy expensive price, which led to my desperation to contact HKParts about this B&T one. Bad idea lol.
