Well, I chose to go with the TN conversion kit. I had my first attempt at switching the nuts n bolts from the SL8 to the G36. I got cocky just 'cause I've put several AR's and AK's together. Man, beautiful German engineering was all I could say. I referred to this link found on HKPRO.COM http://alpinetek.netfirms.com/guns/SL8/breakdown/ and the manual that came with the TN conversion kit. I was able to pin back the trigger assembly and bolt stop. But when it came to putting the hammer, I couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong. Can someone please advise this noob on how to put the hammer back proper? I don't know where and how the springs should be resting. Also, is there a link for a vid or a better guide for the SL8 lower assembly? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
