History Lesson
Was laminating a bunch of Form 4s this weekend and noticed the one for the DLO box says "Trigger Pack for HK / Clone Guns" in 4h and I got to wondering about the history of clones before I started my HK interest.
I really didn't get into the world of all things HK until 2006 and am aware of all the existing clone manufacturers at that time.
So, my question for the extensive knowledge base here is... When did the first roller lock clones hit the US market? Were they imports? Home brewed? Who offered them? When did the term "clone" really enter into the vernacular? Im sure it all predates my interests and just thought it would be interesting to hear from some of you guys with a lot of experience.
