The flares are very difficult to come by. Importers will occasionally get a few boxes of them for sale so I think your best bet would be to google it every few days and see what turns up. If I'm not mistaken I believe there was a thread on here at some point stating that you *can* order them from Europe somewhere, but it has to be a very large order for them to even consider it, and I think that thread was looking into doing a group buy.

...right now there is a large and fresh batch (2012) of them in red, green and white selling in Germany. It's a contract overrun for the german military. Who knows when and if they will ever produce them again...

Only problem is getting them over legally.

Did you find a surplus in the US? I have some but definitely would buy more at the right price.

Beware guys these 19mm flares have a shelf life. After 15 years they are unreliable. I a recent sealed 5-pack I had 2 or 3 that did not fire.
You would be better buying 26.5mm launchers as they have better availability of recent production flares and are far more effective due to the larger payload. great range and larger selection. Even if these could be acquired from overseas from new production the DOT classified them as explosives last time I checked making movement very expensive via special trucks.

To me, the flares are a collectable; I don't plan to shoot them. I wouldn't hesitate to buy 20 year old flares if they were priced right and/or packaged in a way I don't have. It's like some people buy rare vintage wine that's well past it's prime. It's not about drinking the bottle of wine, it's about owning the bottle of wine.

Except the wine can turn out to be vinegar.
