A good friend of mine has a fine HK 300 that he really likes but is not happy wth the trigger pull. It has a fair amount of take up and a spongy break. Because I tinker he asked me to see if I could tighten it up.

It has a polymer trigger pack that drops right out with the push of a button. For the life of me I can't find any adjustment screws.

Am I missing something?

No way am I going to try and disassemble the trigger pack.

Can a quality smith improve it?

My gut tells me that you get what you get with the trigger pack on these.
