Today was a sorrowful day,
I was field stripping my HK 45 tactical for its cleaning when i went to the q-tips and out comes the broken flat spring (part #28). After a short google-fu i was reading about people using needle nose pliers and replacing the part. However i am not a gunsmith nor do i play one on TV, so did the smart thing and tried to call CS. Just my luck i missed them by 30 minutes. So i will be calling tomorrow. I'm posting here to ask if anyone has had this problem, and what is the turnaround on me receiving my firearm back? This is the first time i have had any problem what so ever with any HK i've owned. and sending it in will be new to me.

48 hours is how long it took. Sear spring, updated recoil spring, trigger return spring and hammer spring were all replaced. also added a new pair of raised night sites. Great customer service!
